The “Ivalde Ideal” For Week of Oct 24th

The Ivalde models and I had a hard time picking just one entry from the amazing pool of work that was submitted for this week's contest! But, we all agree it is a wonderful problem to have! There are so many fabulous photographers out there and gorgeous models too!

After much deliberation, we are proud to announce that "The Pumpkin King" by Elise Petrov is the winner of the “Ivalde Ideal” Flickr contest for the week ending October 24, 2008. Congratulations!

As a grand prize, Elise Petrov will receive a $1000L Ivalde gift card! Her winning shot, "The Pumpkin King", will be displayed in the Ivalde main store till the next contest winner's shot is posted on October 31st.

Seremin- Timeless Elegance!

Isold is a homage to the prairie styles of the 70s, complete with dainty floral print!
Featuring juliet-styled sleeves – created with sculpted puffs at the shoulder, and a demure v-neck, the bodice of Isold is dotted with the requisite pearl buttons, which are surrounded in lace. Dainty lace ribbons encircles the waist. An A-line skirt, with the wide-layered hem, rounds out this little dress from the prairie!

The Ivalde Ideal Flickr Contest

Too long in the making, Ivalde proudly announces:

The “Ivalde Ideal” Flickr Contest!

A weekly grand prize of an Ivalde $1000 Gift Card will be awarded to the photographer whose photo that week best exemplifies the Ivalde ideal!


The Rules:
To be considered, you can post up to two snapshots/screenshots each week to the Flickr Ivalde group pool.

If you do not have a Flickr account, you need to join. It is free to join.

You may post more than 2 entries, but keep in mind, only the last 2 posted will be considered!

You must be wearing Ivalde items. We also encourage the use of other Ivalde sim shops, but it's not necessary. Also, no nudity please, though tasteful boudoir shots are acceptable.

To keep the flickr pool easy to use, SerenityVal Alcott (Sere) will post a weekly shot in the group pool as a marker, labeled with Flickr contest. This shot (marker) signals the end of the previous week. It also signals the beginning of the next week's contest. The shots in between the two markers will be the photos considered by the judges. For the first week, Sere will post a contest announcement shot.

Judging:
The 5 Ivalde models: Beulah Mills, Eileen Villiers, Sequoia Nightfire, Kymsara Rayna and Fay Rhode will each pick a favorite from the weekly pool.

They will each forward their personal final selection via email (with the link) to Sere.

Sere will pick her favorite from the choices submitted by the Ivalde models.

The winner will be contacted in-world by Serenityval Alcott.

Sere will also post the winner announcement, and the winning shot, to the Ivalde blog.

Neferia Abel will award the $1000L Ivalde gift card to the weekly winner on Friday or Saturday.

Any Ivalde model or employee is NOT eligible to participate. They, however, are still encouraged to post to the group pool. Their photos are ineligible to win the weekly prize.

By participating, you agree to allow your winning shot to be displayed in the Ivalde main store during the next week. You also agree to email your winning entry to Serenityval@gmail.com so she can place it in-world and on the Ivalde blog.

The contest will run from Wednesday to Wednesday. In order for later submissions to be fairly judged, the weekly cutoff for consideration is Wednesday evening when Sere will post the marker shot. Any shots submitted after that time, will be considered in the next week's contest.

The Ivalde model team will judge on Thursday each week. Ivalde will announce the winner via the Ivalde blog on Friday.

The winner for the first contest will be announced on October 24th, 2008.
