Innocently Sweet !

YAY! Neferia is back but we both still thought to continue the 50s week looking over whats in store. The great news is now you can get into the main store, its FULL of amazing designs to suit everyone. There isn't one thing in that store I don't love.
For now lets take a look at Katja - a dress I would love to own in real life .

Katja is a 50s-era dress that draws on all the charms of that simpler day and time. Tailored with an off-the-shoulder look, two prim sleeves cap the arms, with a bodice that is delicately ruched across the bust line. A textured belt is included on a separate layer so it can be either worn or not. The flex skirt is knee-length and full, a perfect example of the bouffant dresses of the 50s!

I am back!

First off, I want to thank everybody for all the kind and wonderful words. They really made me speechless. I feel very humble and amazed by the outpouring of support and appreciation. Your kindness means the world to me! Reading over all the blog posts, I feel such a wave of warmth wash over me. I am honored you took the time to post about Ivalde/L`Abel. Thank you!
Secondly, I am happy to say since I now have internet, I have reopened the main store! I will be able to handle business issues.
Since its 4 weeks since i was online I lost lots of IMs and notecards with being offline for so long. If you have contacted me regarding missing items, lost transactions, etc., and I haven't responded, please resend. I am sorry for your trouble and I will work to fix it. Thank you!
Though I do have internet, my children are adjusting to their new home, and are still out of school. That, in addition to my ongoing health issues, will still limit the time I have in-world. So while I am back, it will be limited. But make no mistake, I am still around!

I want to send an extra special thank you to Ketzemin and Anessa for their help and support they gave unconditionally to me. It was a surprise! I felt so bad to leave in such a hurry and in such a mess. I have always known how extraordinary they are, but putting a store together on Retrology for me in one day was over and beyond anything anyone could even dream! Thank you my dear, dear Ketzemin and Anessa!

And last, but not least, I want to thank my dear friends in our Ivalde family:
Eileen, Fay, Seq, Kym, Beu and Sere.
You all are very special to me. I could't bear to lose any of you! You are true friends and my Sl life would not be the same without one of you.You are there for me in bad days and good days. Thank you for all your help, love and support. I love you all.

Love,

Nef

Me and brumms 2 little ones , Gabrielle and Edvard having fun ,or rather 3 little ones, cause Hector the dog is like one of the kids as well:) (at our new home we have the sea/fjord few meters from the house)

A Visit to Ivalde at the Gossipgirl sim

Neferia still has her store there and there are a few things little different there from the Retrology store.

Millie is a dramatic period dress, bustled and beautiful! Tailored in a heavy gabardine with accents of silk, Millie is lavish on details. The gently ruched Batu bodice, complete with textured ties, is in the same luscious silk as the the softly puffed curves and flares of the sculpted short-sleeves and the lavish swags of the sculpted bustle. The torso of the top is finished in a lushly textured gabardine, as is the full-length flex- bell shaped skirt, lending a strong sense of substance to this amazing dress!Available at Ivalde in olive, purple/marine, purple/red, and teal Millie, a dress that is perfect style with substance!

Today we go back to the very start of the Edwarian era when it was just leaving the Victorian time.

Anetta is a dress that exudes confidence! Anetta's double-breasted buttons are the perfect counterparts to the contrast piping and stand up flared sculpted collar and cuffs. The full-length, A-line skirt is tailored with an over skirt and center contrasting inset!

Remember even though Ivalde main store is closed for the summer there is a fab smaller store over at the Retrology sim - see you there http://slurl.com/secondlife/Retrology/48/48/40

Classic Edwardian Design

For today's Edwardian style I went for a dress that could be wore for many occasions and cover much more than just the Edwardian era.

Maud is an ode to Edwardian elegance! This full-length gown consists of a bodice with a sculpted stand-up lace collar, lacy illusion overlay and sculpted sleeves.A sash belt cinches the waist, complete with a sculpted bow. The sculpted bodice bottom gives a slight flare over the fitted skirt which is trimmed in lace at the hem!

Timeless: What's Past is Present .... or My View from the Stand by Sequoia Nightfire

Ivalde blogger challenge continues... too much to be said to contain in one day. We love you Nef and will miss you during this time of respite. Our best thoughts are with you as you make some significant changes in your life and our prayers go out for a speedy recovery from that which ails you physically.

The bonds of friendship formed, though spread across thousands of miles, are an amazing testament to the focal point Ivalde and L`Abel have become to many. Nef created something really special and her designs are just a part of it. It is the attitude we all share in welcoming all into "our" store with a smile and desire to help you find that exact fabulous look.

We may be on a short hiatus from the Main store but you know who we are and where to find us, hehe. Retrology sim Ivalde store is now open for business, feel free to drop me a im if you need help.

Sunset at Joy

What I love about Nef’s designs are the details not only are the seams picture perfect, but the silk or taffeta accents are layered by shadow and effect that only a rl artist could master. Neferia is one of these gifted few in Second Life who can manage a truly fabulous fresh fashion house design rather than the off the rack look. The textures have such depth and warmth and extraordinary fit as to give the wearer the feeling this was made exclusively for them. My favorite gowns are way too numerous to fathom. For the Ivalde bloggers challenge I decided to go back in time and share a few of my favorites.

Pictured above is the Gertie, the soft silk asian floral pattern catches the sunset showing off the shimmer and the silk accents at the shoulder the shadows of the approach of twilight. The prims at the bottom of the skirt flute out as petals of the flowers patterned across this bit of summer elegance.
~~Ivalde~~Augusta

Next is the Agusta, which I wore on Fabulous Fashion with Angie Mornington in a show featuring Neferia. Angie commented on how she was anxious to go buy this dress at the conclusion of the program. Nef once again asked me to wear this Depression era frock for her appearance on RL Norwegian TV. Not bad two TV appearances in less than a month she must have been doing something right! Below I (Sequoia) am joined by Beulah, Eileen, Fay, & KymSara in our appearance on Fabulous Fashion. A big day in our close-knit family Nef called us “The sweetest and best models ever in sl:) “.

Fabulous Fashion - Faces of Ivalde

Ivalde has something for everyone…We cover from Victorian/Edwardian to Present day with the new collection from L`Abel. Beulah wearing a Baroque gown, KymSara in Victorian, Sequoia in Depression Era, Fay in 1950’s, Eileen in 1970’s

~~Ivalde~~ASTA black

Finally, perhaps my favorite versatile occasion dress is the Asta. It is stunning no matter how you look at it. Timeless, elegant yet flirty and fun, this dress with the flouncy multiple layered skirts could be worn and welcome on a dance floor at a jazz club. Asta is also perfect also for a romantic moonlight stroll or sipping champagne at an art opening. Use your imagination… your partner will definitely be using theirs when they see you in it.

Ivalde Model Fay Rhode Shares Her Love of Ivalde

It all started out simple enough, my first visit to Ivalde was due to a shout out from a Lucky Chair group to help clear the famous Lucky chair at Ivalde! I got the pretty dress, and ended staying in the store, loving all the designs! Once I found Ivalde, I found it hard to leave! I adore all of Nef's designs, and have the good fortune to be chosen as one of her models!

Today I am wearing Veronika, a new dress from her L`Abel Collection. It's a romantic dress, with sculpted skirt pooling on the floor.

A special thanks to Kymsara Rayna, who helped by talking these lovely shots!

We miss you here Nef, hurry back!
